In 1995 Hamelex Transport Equipment and White Transport Equipment amalgamated to form Australia’s largest manufacturer of steel and aluminium tippers, Hamelex White.
Catering to the bulk carrying, quarry and construction industries, Hamelex White manufactures semi tippers, side tippers, walking floors® and many specialty units in its 10,000 sq.m manufacturing facility in Hallam, Victoria. Its trailers are found throughout Australia providing reliable service year after year.
Hamelex White trailers are supported by a dedicated national dealer network, with ten branches covering the complete eastern seaboard as well as south western New South Wales, South Australia and Western Australia.
Hamelex White was acquired by MaxiTRANS in 2004. Its modern manufacturing facility is undergoing a $5million capital investment programme to improve safety and operational efficiency while converting it from a “cell build” to a production line operation.
